While we have grant funding, UNM-LA is offering the opportunity for online (present and future) instructors to take external courses offered by Quality Matters and the Online Learning Consortium. These workshops are all online. Most workshops last for 1-3 weeks. Online teaching certification involves a nine-week course and three one-week workshops.

If you want to take a workshop, you need to identify the workshop and then apply for funding. Below are links to listings of the available workshops and to information about the process of getting funding through the HSI grant. Be sure to allow at least six weeks between the time you apply for funding and the start date of the workshop.
